Military Diet

Breakfast

 

A slice of toast

2 teaspoon of peanut butter

1 cup tea or coffee (with         caffeine)

 

1 egg

1 Slice of Wholegrain Toast

1/2Banana

 

1 Small Apple

5 Saltine Crackers

1 Slice of Cheddar Cheese

 

 

 

Lunch

 

12 cup of tuna or lean form of protein

1 Slice of Wholegrain Toast

1 Cup of Coffee or tea (with caffeine)

 

1 cup of cottage cheese

1 egg (hard boiled)

Five saltine crackers.

 

1 egg (Cooked however you like to eat)

1 Slice of Wholegrain Toast

 

 

 

Dinner

 

3 ounces (85 grams)  of any lean meat

1/2 cup of green beans

A small apple

½  Banana

1 cup of vanilla ice cream

 

2 Hot dogs (without buns)

Half  cup of broccoli

Carrots approx half cup

½ Banana

½ Cup of Vanilla Ice Cream

 

½ Banana

1 cup of tuna

1 cup of vanilla ice cream

Day 1:

This combination of foods that are recommended on the first day of diet supposed to help in boosting the metabolic rate. You will consume a maximum of 1400 calories in the first day of the diet.

Day 2:

Eggs and cottage cheese are high in protein and broccoli and carrot are high in fiber and bananas are rich in potassium. Means you take full of a nutritious diet in the second day of your diet. In day second you can consume 1200 calories.

Day 3:

On the third day of your dieting diet allow you to eat 1100 calories. The recommended food keeps you away from the junk foods and makes you fuller.

Day 4 to 7:

After completing your 3-day dieting plan now prepare yourself for the four days during which you can eat what you like but keep in mind don’t exceed your calories more than 1500 calories in a day. Somehow you have to manage your diet accordingly, so if you are serious about weight loss you have to avoid cake, candy, fried foods, Cheese pizza or burger, cookies and other fatty dishes. Start drinking too much of fluid content except alcoholic and soda beverages, drink water at least 8 to 10 glasses daily, then for sure you should reach your weight loss goals.

Military Diet Substitutions: 

If you don’t have a liking towards grapefruit:

If you don’t eat grapefruit then you can use 2 teaspoons of baking soda in water instead of it. It can be also be substituted with canned or fresh mandarin oranges.

Not a fan of tuna:

You can replace Tuna with ½ whole grains cereal, ¼ cup yogurt and ½ teaspoon of flax seeds.

Don’t like lean meat:

Replace it with tofu and mushrooms.

Green beans:

Use spinach, tomatoes, lettuce and other green vegetables.

Coffee and tea:

If you are bored with the daily routine of coffee and tea consume green tea instead of them.

Hate banana:

We have a substitute for banana, you can consume grapes, apricots, plum, and kiwis.

Teeth do not allow ice cream:

Instead of ice cream, you can eat fruit chart or fruit yogurt.
