How to Make Your Own Electrolyte Energy Drink at Home

Citrus fruits like orange or lemon are a good source of electrolytes. You can half or double the recipe according to your need and drink this energy drink before or after exercise or workout sessions as it provides energy to your body.


3/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
3-4 cups water
1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon salt according to taste
2 tablespoons raw honey or you can also take maple syrup

How to make it:
In this recipe you need to mix one-half cup of orange juice with lemon juice and blend them together. Then add 2 to 4 tablespoons of raw honey pour water and mix the solution well. Once all ingredients are mixed properly add salt.

Coconut and strawberries drink:

This combo of fruits make an excellent drink so just try it by your own at home.


3 cups of coconut water
1 cup of strawberries
1 cup of purified water
1/8 teaspoon of salt
2 tablespoons natural sugar or honey
1 cup of ice

How to make it:
Mix 3 cups of coconut water with 1 cup of strawberries blend them properly then add sea salt and 2 tablespoons natural sugar. If you are suffering from diabetes add honey instead of sugar. Now add ice and serve it.

1 cup of fruit juice
3 tbsp Chia Seeds
1 cup of water

How to make it:
Take a cup of warm water and add chia seeds to it. Let the seeds remain in the water for overnight. Check Chia sides next day it would be swollen in size and water would gain a thick consistency. Combined this juice with your favorite juice and sugar, healthy fat and protein will hold you over for hours.

3/4 cups mineral or coconut water

How to use it:
Grate ginger and separated its juice from its solid in a bowl. Discard remaining pulp. You should now have about 1 tsp. ginger juice. Combine ginger juice, lemon juice, and salt in a large measuring cup or bowl. Stir the mixture by adding water. Then add ice to make it cool.

Choose any type of tea either herbal teas, green tea at least 1 quart
1-quart plain water
1/4 tsp high-quality salt
¼ cup juices like a lemon, apple, pineapple etc
I teaspoon calcium magnesium powder
1-2 tbsp sweetener (sugar or honey)

How to make it:
Add tea to water and steep them for 5-10 minutes. Then turn off the stove and add salt and calcium magnesium to mix. Also, add the juice of your favorite fruit and sweetener. Shake all the ingredients well. Cool, the mixture and serve by adding ice in it. You can also store the mixture for 2-3 days but we suggest you make a fresh juice whenever you want to drink it.

1/4 cup of Red Clover Flowers
1/4 cup of Oat Straw
1/8 cup of Peppermint
1/2 cup of lime juice

How to make it:
All herbs mix together in a container and cover with boiled water. Let it remain like that overnight so that all herbs are infused completely in the water. Strain the solution and collect in a bowl, then add lime juice to it. Store this mixture in the refrigerator and consume by adding honey as that it is helpful to enhance the taste of the drink.

1/4 cup of Pomegranate Juice
1/4 cup of Lemon Juice
1 ½ cups of Coconut Water without sugar
1/4 tsp of salt
2 cups of Water

How to make it:
Put all the ingredients in a container and whisk. This drink contains high quantity of sodium, potassium, and calcium too and comes under best electrolyte drinks for dehydration.
