They even not concentrate on their work because their whole concentration is in the bathroom isn’t. Diarrhea is very common ailment which affects millions of people all over the world. Home Remedies for Diarrhea:



Yogurt is probiotic and has live culture if healthy bacteria such as lactobacillus acidophilus and bifidobacterium enter in your digestive tract and destroy a bad bacterium that is responsible for causing diarrhea.

Direction to use:

Buy yogurt from store and consume yogurt directly twice a day that will help to improve diarrhea. You can also add a banana in yogurt to enhance its taste.



You may be aware of ginger benefits as it is helpful to cure throat and voice problems but are you also aware from its useful benefits to treat stomach problems. Apart from diarrhea, it is also helpful for cramps and abdominal pain. If you called ginger as magic ingredient nothing is wrong.

Direction to use:

Grated a small piece of ginger and extract juice out from it then add my teaspoon of honey in the juice and consume it. This solution is very good to improve diarrhea. But keep in mind do not drink water immediate after consuming this solution. You can also make ginger tea by adding 2-3 cloves of ginger in a cup of water boil it. Strain it and add honey instead of sugar.

Apple Cider Vinegar:

Green Tea contains antioxidants that maintain your health and soothes an upset stomach. If your diarrhea occurs due to Helicobacter pylori infection then green tea work best.

Direction to use:

Take a Tea bag and add it in a cup of water. Steep it for few minutes. Drink this mixture of green tea you can also add honey and lemon in green tea for taste. Try to drink 2-3 cup of green tea in a day.

Olive Oil:

Olive oil contains oleic acid which slows down digestion process and reduces diarrhea.

Direction to use:

Consume 1 tablespoon of olive oil on an empty stomach and another tablespoon during the day before having a meal.

Make your own blueberries tea, just you need to add blueberries in a cup of water and steep it for 10 minutes. Warm this solution before drinking. You can also chew some dried berries. Drink this flavored tea twice a day.

Carrot Soup:

Directions to use:

Take a carrot wash it, scrape it and finely chop it. Now it needs to cook carrot in a cup of water for few minutes in a pressure cooker. Drain the liquid and add salt according to your taste. Eat soup daily for few days during diarrhea.

White Rice:

It is recommended to eat white rice during diarrhea because it helps to harden the stool and it is also easy to digest.

Directions to use:

Eat white rice without adding any sauce and spice to make sure you will be no problem later on. Keep in mind as your diarrhea improves increase the intake amount of white rice.



Banana has high pectin content which is helpful to stop diarrhea. You can have a banana with any of above mention ingredients to relieve from stomach problems.

Take a banana alone or have it with any snacks. You can also mix it with yogurt or with nuts. Make sure your bananas may be ripening because unripe banana may cause some problems in your digestive tract.

  • Avoid dairy products such as cheese, cream, butter and ice cream.
  • Do not consume spicy, fried food, and greasy food can trigger bowel irritation and also increase diarrhea.
  • Alcoholic beverages carbonated and caffeinated drinks such as coffee, tea, soda may worsen symptoms of diarrhea. Instead of these alcoholic drinks, you can drink fresh fruit juices that balance the loss of fluids in the body.
  • Some foods that are responsible for causing bloating and gas like nuts, onions, cabbage, cauliflower, and broccoli avoid them until you completely recovered. Once you are recovered eat whatever you want.
  • You can eat BRAT diet it is the diet in which have very little acidity and contain simple sugars. This diet soothes the intestines and alleviates your diarrhea symptoms.
  • Processed food that are made up of high amounts of added sugars such as cakes, pastries and those who are made up of high refined flour like pizza.
  • Drink water as much you can because during diarrhea a lot of water goes out of the body, as a result, the chances of dehydration will increases so just to overcome this problem drink water after an interval of every 15-20 minutes.
  • Start drinking bottle guard juice. This juice has lots of medicinal values and is used to treat dehydration and thirst during diarrhea. Just start drinking this juice daily by adding a pinch of salt in it for best results.
